In addition to participation in the Leadership and Business Conference and the Annual Awards Gala, the International Leadership Foundation gives its advisors opportunities to attend special events in the nation’s capital. In the past, ILF Leadership and Advisors had the opportunity to participate in White House events and meet with United States Presidents Trump, Obama, George W. Bush, and Clinton. They also met with George H. W. Bush, Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland, Senator Tammy Duckworth, and Senator Mazie Hirono. They have also expressed to the ILF and its advisors how significant the role, progress, and future of the AAPI community is to American society.
