ILF Attends Leaders Forum’s White House Briefing

ILF Director Soo Kyung Koo attended the Leaders Forum’s 2016 White House Policy Summit and discussed the cultivation of young Asian Pacific American (APA) leaders and Trans-Pacific Partnership with Robert Holleyman, Ambassador and Deputy U.S. Trade Representative, and Tina Tchen, Chief Staff to the First Lady Michelle Obama.

In addition to discussing APA issues at the White House Policy Summit, Soo met Jose L. Cuisa, Jr., the Philippines Ambassador to the U.S., the Associate Directors of the White House Office of Public Engagement, government officials from 5 different federal agencies, and reporters at the Washington Post.

Leaders Forum is a nonpartisan Asian American Pacific Islander consortium of premiere thought leaders who are heads and trailblazers in their industries. Their goal is to propel Asian American leadership by innovating, building, and sustaining significant pathways between the federal government and the private sector.
