ILF-APAICS Historic MOU Signed

On October th, 2016, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the International Leadership Foundation (ILF) and the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) was signed by Mr. Floyd Mori, Presiden/CEO of APAICS and Ms. Chiling Tong, CEO/Founder of ILF.

ILF and APAICS have closely worked together for long and supported each other’s initiatives.  ILF was pleased to join the APAICS  Annual Gala Awards Dinner events for many years passed a partner, including the 2016 one where President Obama spoke. However, it is historic that the two organizations officially signed a MOU.

ILF and APAICS share similar interests in advancing the growth, development and prosperity of Asian Pacific American (APA) community and leaders and have a desire to expand their reach and service offerings to the greater APA community and its leaders. Through strategic partnerships for next decades, both national organizations will work together to deliver a strong voice representing the interests of APAs in Washington, D.C. and in all regions of the country.

APAICS is a national non-partisan, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting Asian Pacific American participation and representation at all levels of the political process, from community service to elected office. APAICS programs focus on developing leadership, building public policy knowledge, and filling the political pipeline for Asian Pacific Americans to pursue public office at the local, state, and federal levels.
